Phonak's newest hearing aid, announced in August 2026 and in UK clinics from September. It carries the new HYPERSONIC chip, and it is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the Sphere it replaces, with up to 38 hours on a charge. Three levels: E90, E70 and E50.

Phonak's new processor, which they say does the same real-time AI work on 37% less power. That is where the smaller shell and the longer battery come from.

Yes. CROS EON R picks up sound on the side you cannot hear from and sends it across to the hearing aid on your better ear. There is also Audeo EON R, which uses the same new chip and shell without the dedicated speech separation, at a lower price.
