What dual AI actually means.
Most hearing aids treat background sound as a problem to be removed. The more aggressively they filter, the more of the room disappears with it, which is why some people describe hearing aids as making the world feel flat or distant. Reveal runs two engines at once, continuously.
Continuously identifies and sharpens the speech of the people around you, so conversation stays at the front of what you hear.
Recognises and balances the sounds around you rather than stripping them out, so the room still feels like a room. Footsteps, a kettle, a car approaching.
Both run on Oticon's new Reveal AI platform, the third generation of their AI sound processing and the step up from the chip inside Oticon Intent.

Styles, colours and connectivity.
A compact rechargeable miniRITE R, which sits behind the ear with a slim wire to a speaker in the ear canal. Around two hours on charge gives you the day. Oticon CROS RE is available for hearing on one side only.
Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast for broadcast audio in theatres, stations and airports. Made for iPhone and optimised for Android. Oticon claim a steadier connection and more streaming range than the previous platform.
Reveal 1, 2, 3 and 4. The hearing aid itself is identical in all four, and so are the colours and the connectivity. What changes is how hard the Dual AI system is allowed to work in noise, and how finely we can shape the sound for you. Reveal 1 runs it without a cap; Reveal 4 is the entry point.
Chroma Beige, Honey Beige, Chestnut Brown, Terracotta, Silver, Silver Grey, Steel Grey, Diamond Black, and Deep Plum, which is new to this range. Sky Blue, which was on Intent, is not part of the Reveal line-up. Your audiologist will bring the colours to your fitting so you can hold them against your hair and skin before you decide.

Intent uses one processor with 4D sensors that read how you are moving and listening. Reveal runs two AI systems at the same time, one sharpening speech and one keeping the sounds around you in balance. Oticon claim a 60% stronger brain response than Intent. In practice the difference is most noticeable in busy places rather than quiet ones.
Reveal comes in four levels. The hearing aid, the colours and the connectivity are identical in all four. What changes is how hard the Dual AI system is allowed to work in noise and how finely we can shape the sound for you. If most of your difficulty is in restaurants and groups, the higher levels earn their money. If your life is mostly quiet, they do not.
Yes. Reveal has Bluetooth LE Audio and is Made for iPhone and optimised for Android, so calls, music and video sound come straight to your ears. It also supports Auracast, the broadcast system appearing in theatres, stations and airports. We set all of this up at your fitting rather than leaving you to work it out.
Yes, and we would rather you did. After your free hearing test we programme a demo set to your own results so you can hear the difference in the room, not on paper. There is no obligation, and if we do not think it is the right hearing aid for you we will say so.
A full charge gives you the day, including streaming. Around two hours on the charger takes it back to full. There is no disposable battery version of Reveal.
